Mallory Morel wins Most Outstanding Presentation at Hinman Student Research Symposium.

The 23rd annual Hinman Student Research Symposium was held Nov. 3-5, 2017, at the historic Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.  The Symposium featured oral and poster presentations of research projects by dental students and graduate trainees from dental schools across North America.  At this year’s Symposium, 94 students represented an all-time high of 60 dental schools in 33 states, the District of Columbia, and 4 Canadian provinces.  We are proud that our very own Mallory Morel was honored with Most Outstanding Presentation Award.

Farewell John!

Dr. John Nathan earned his DDS degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Nathan continues his journey as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  

Dr. Nathan published his work in Osteoarthritis Cartilage and Journal of Dental Research.  He has won several awards based on his project, including 2016 AAMOS Scientific Oral Abstract Scientific Presentation Award and 2016 AADR Hatton Award Finalist.

Mallory Morel wins 1st Place AADR Hatton Award Junior Category in San Francisco, California.

The 2017 American Association of Dental Research Edward H. Hatton Awards Committee selected the best 27 abstracts nation wide. Finalists submitted an extended abstract and presented their research in an oral presentation at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the AADR.  Mallory Morel won 1st Place AADR Hatton Award for the Junior Category.  Congratulations to Mallory for her hard work and winning this prestigious award!
